Through this artwork, I wanted to showcase the idea of tension between to people. There can be tension in many relationships, whether it's husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, or brother/sister. In this photo, I wanted to depicted the tension between a mother and a daughter. The facial expressions on the character's faces express the feeling of anger and frustration amongst the two. They are sitting on opposite ends of the table which is to portray, literally, how their relationship feels, emotionally. The tension between them has caused them to become emotionally distant and no longer as close as they used to be.

I decided to use a panorama for this because I wanted to exaggerate the idea of being far from one another. I added two extra frames in the middle of the photo in order to accomplish this. I chose this topic because many times parents/children, brothers/sisters, and friends have years and years of conflict that is never resolved. This results in them not having a close relationship when they're older. I wanted to make a statement on this because it is hopefully relatable to many people and opens their eyes to the possibility of strained long-term relationships.
