What would I change about society? This was a really easy prompt for me to think of a subject for; I chose racial oppression. This is an ongoing issue going on in society today that I feel strongly about. Racial oppression and white privilege is still evident in America today, and most people don't even realize it. There are many groups, organizations, marches, and protests made and carried out all the time about this issue because it is so evident in today's society.

I chose for my subject to be doing an every day activity, putting on make-up, but with several physical restrictions in order to metaphorically depict the every day challenges many minorities in America face. I depicted her in handcuffs and with duck tape over her mouth. I also write "you don't matter" on the duck tape as a statement concerning the "black lives matter" movement.
