For my "Moment in Time" photograph, I chose to take a picture of someone on a children's playset. This is an important memory in my life. When I lived in Washington, when I was younger, we had a swingset just like the one in the picture. Right before we left to move for Maryland, I remember swinging on it one last time. At that time I had no idea what Maryland was like or that I would like it here so much. It was akey moment in my life because that is when everything changed.

moment in time
This is my photo for the "Ordinary to Extraordinary" prompt. I took a picture of the old basketball hoop in my backyard. I think the huge amount of contrast in this picture is what brings the scene from being just ordinary to extraordinary.

ordinary to extraordinary

The issue I chose to bring light on in my collage is when my sisters steal my leftover pizza from the fridge that I was planning on saving for later. I want the viewer to know that I get annoyed when people steal my food out of the fridge. One symbol I used in my collage is the glue sticks on the characters hand to symbolize her having "sticky fingers" and to show she plans on stealing the pizza. Another symbol I used is an angel halo on top of the character who is originally putting the pizza in the fridge to show their innocence in the scene. The last symbol I used is the devil horns and tail to symbolize the characters evil characteristics. First, I found pictures online and put them into photoshop. Then, I needed to put the magazine cut-outs into photoshop. So, I cut out the letters i needed and scanned them into photoshop.

environmental portrait
This is the photo I took for the Environmental Portrait prompt. The character in this photo is an older girl who is playing on a childrens swingset. The environment around her shows that she is very carefree and childlike. Her being on the swingset shows that she has no desire to grow up.
